What is Reiki and how can it help you?

  • Reiki Helps you to help yourself.

Reiki is the Japanese word for “Universal Light Energy.” Energy is referred to by some as “Chi”, “Prana”, “Mana” or “Christ Consciousness”. There are many paths to the divine and many words meaning the same thing. The spiritual energy, life force or power that is found in people, places and objects is a life force that animates all living things. The universal life force is a spiritual energy that can be accumulated or lost depending on ones actions and/or way of life. Reiki helps supplement this force for the individual. A Reiki practitioner serves as a vehicle or conduit to direct this energy into the recipient’s body to stimulate their body’s own natural healing abilities.

  • The healing energy knows exactly where to go.

We are all energy beings. But, energy can get stuck in your body just like water might get blocked and trapped. Water that cannot flow eventually becomes dirty or stagnant. Similarly, Reiki’s light stimulates the removal of energy blocks allowing the energy to flow again. Stagnation can literally feel like a block inside of you. This stuck energy may bring disease, depression or other health and mental health issues.

  • Reiki brings balance.

A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows in and around you. There is a sense of peace and wellbeing. It helps to balance emotions, calm the mind and enrich the spirit. Reiki is a compliment to other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Many people have reported miraculous healing results!

What is a Reiki Master?

Anyone can learn Reiki; the power is within us all! In the White Light non-traditional lineage there are four levels of certification to become a Master Teacher. Reiki teachers are certified to give energy attunements to people so that they may connect to this energy source and all of its miraculous healing powers. Reiki attunements are intense and involve a lot of processing, practice time and focus on personal growth. It is not easy, but nothing worth doing ever is. If you choose this path, I am available to teach.
